Welcome to Proof of Purpose. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.

1. Purpose and Scope

Proof of Purpose is a youth-focused onchain nonprofit initiative based in Alabama. We enable youth participants ("Champions") to earn tokenized rewards by completing approved community tasks, while donors, vendors, and administrators support the program via our platform.

2. Guardian Consent

Any user under the age of 18 must be registered with verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian. Guardians must review and approve their Champion's participation. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that do not meet this requirement.

3. Tokenomics and Treasury Allocation

All donations are transparently distributed:

- 90% to fund redemptions at local approved vendors for Champion activities
- 8% to the admin multisig for operations, tools, and supplies
- 2% to the founder wallet for long-term stewardship and system maintenance

All fund flows are handled by smart contracts and subject to DAO transparency measures.

4. Nonprofit and Legal Status

Proof of Purpose is operated under a pending 501(c)(3) nonprofit entity. Until IRS approval, all donations are held in a secure multisig treasury wallet, controlled by appointed stewards. Legal compliance is maintained in accordance with Alabama nonprofit regulations and applicable federal law.

5. Account Responsibility

Users are responsible for their own web3 wallet access and are encouraged to use secure, device-tied embedded wallets. Sharing of wallets, impersonation, or misuse of the system may result in disqualification and revocation of rewards.

6. Code of Conduct

All participants must interact with others respectfully and honestly. Attempted fraud, harassment, or exploitation of the platform in any form may result in permanent bans and formal investigation by administrators or legal authorities if necessary.

7. Changes to These Terms

Terms may be updated at any time. Notifications will be posted on the platform or emailed. Continued use of the platform confirms your acceptance of the latest version.
